隔着屏幕都能感受到这位家长的无奈。但我给她的第一句回复是:千万别生孩子气,听过好多遍依然记不住,这太正常了,这真不是孩子懒。
一、为什么讲了无数遍,孩子还是记不住?
我们要明白一个核心难点:英语毕竟不是咱们的日常环境语言。
这就好比我当年学意大利语,当时有个语伴,互相教对方中文和意大利语,我当时学得很认真,达到了日常对话打电话的水平。但是,后来缺乏语言环境,三五年不用,现在我连一句完整的句子都想不起来了。
孩子学英语也是一模一样的道理。很多时候,孩子在课堂上确实听懂了语法规则,知道地点用 where,人物用 who。但如果课后没有持续的使用场景去刺激,大脑很快就会启动遗忘机制,把这些抽象的规则清理掉。
二、破局解法:建立直觉的条件反射
遇到这种痛点,我们千万不要去跟孩子反复讲大道理,或者逼他抄写语法规则。我们要做的,是帮他建立类似肌肉记忆的直觉。
我给这位妈妈的建议是:直接找30道特殊疑问句的错题,每天只让孩子做1道,连续做30天。
别小看这个动作。一口气做30道题,孩子会极其抗拒,且明天就忘。但每天只花一分钟做1道题,连续30天不断的微小刺激,就能形成牢固的神经联结。等过两个月,再重来一轮三十天的练习。通过两轮训练,彻底跳出死记硬背的死胡同。
做题时,只需要让孩子记住两句口诀:
第一步找疑问词:看到地点用 Where,看到人物用 Who,看到「谁的」用 Whose。
第二步大搜:把剩下的句子变成一般疑问句。

语言学习,拼的从来不是哪一天突然背了多少语法,而是细水长流的重复。每天一道题,用最低的认知阻力,带孩子跨越最难的语法坎,这就是我们一直提倡的「每天15分钟长期主义」。
三十天后,孩子一定能马上反应出怎么说特殊疑问句,但过几个月,可能又会忘记,这时候,再来一次三十天的练习就好。把大任务拆解成极小微习惯,不仅对孩子适用,对焦虑的家长同样适用。
